Fishing hat gift box
Hello Craft Family,
I could not resist this fishing hat. When Simplycraftysvgs.com released this file on their website I knew I had to have it. It is hard for me to find fun guy files to play with and this one was just want I needed.
Besides the little bit of burlap cloth this project is entirely made from cardstock. Crafters ask all the time what weight of cardstock I use for my projects. I use 80 lb cardstock the majority of the time. Bazzill Basics and American Crafts and My Colors cardstock are 80 lb and high quality paper. These brands cut really well in any of your electronic die cutting machines.
The title was a stamp sent that I had from years ago. I think it makes a great addition to this fishing hat. The file comes with a different "Gone Fishing" tag so if you don't have a stamp don't worry they have you covered.
I just love this bobber as it reminds me of my childhood. We use to fish for trout when I was young and I loved to sit on the shore and just wait for my bobber to duck under the water and start some excitement. Most the time it was just a small perch or a salamander messing with my line but it was so enjoyable all the same.
Below is a picture of the box for you to put some goodies or a gift card in. I love that these files are so useful. It makes giving a gift so much more fun then just a gift bag.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog post. Please let me know if there is anything I can help you with on our site Piecingparadise.com
