Happy Birthday Card Ideas for Spring

 Hello Craft Family,

I hope you are all doing well and staying healthy. I know we are in trying times right now and I for one am so thankful for this hobby. It really has kept me busy while we are home.

I hope the following two cards inspire you to try something new.

This first card I chalked an embossed image. I have not used chalks in a very long time and it was so fun to get them out and play with them. I made the chalking very light and in person it shows up a lot better but even in the picture you can see the subtle chalking. I like this card because it was really easy to make. Sometimes I run out of cards and a birthday comes up and I need to make one fast. This technique works well when you are in a pinch and still yields beautiful results.

This next card I used several techniques. The white cardstock is embossed with a diagonal cross hatch pattern from the pack of embosing and stamping folder set. I used Nuvo Glitter drops on each of the intersections of the triangles that it created. The 2nd technique I used was the lattice stencil with an ink pad. I then used the same stencil with the Nuvo glimmer paste for another layer of interest. Then I just added a flower some green cardstock leaves and a Happy Birthday stamp.
