Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays to you all!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I must start my blog post by telling you my Christmas Story:

The first week of November my husband got laid off from his job. That sent our household into a tail spin. Scared out of our minds we started trying to figure out plan B. In the planning of plan B we realized that this Christmas we were going to have to scale way back on what we normally do. We have two kiddos so we knew we still wanted to try and make their Christmas as normal as possible so we decided as adults to pretty much go without buying each other much of anything this year. My family got wind of all of our plans and that sent Santa's Elves into action. Going about our plans with no clue what Santa's Elves were up to we stuck to our small budget and pulled off Christmas. Our two daughters surprised us and had used their own money to buy us gifts so we would have presents under the tree. Lets just say my Mommy heart was already overflowing.

Then came a knock at our door and a bag full of cheer. My parents were here with a bag from Santa filled to the brim with gifts for my husband and I. With my eyes filled with tears I unwrapped each one of the gifts. In that great big bag was the reason I am telling you, my Craft Family this story. I had received a new Cricut Maker.  It was an amazing gift and one I hope to use to inspire you all in your crafting journey. The picture above is the first project I made with my Cricut Maker. I used all Bazzill Basics Cardstock from our shop. Thank you for letting me share my story with you and I hope you all have a wonderful New Years.
