Haunting Shadow Box Frame
Hello Craft Family!!
Halloween is upon us and I was able to make a fun Halloween decoration to add to my festive home décor. I was looking for something a little different and was browsing my cut files I have on my computer. I saw the shadow box cut file from SVG cuts and thought what if I made that into a Halloween themed instead of Christmas. That set this project in Motion.
First I had to pick out paper to see what color I wanted my base. So I chose two different Halloween pattern cardstock and then chose American Crafts Black cardstock for my base. I was originally going to put a picture in the frame but then I decided that I might want to give this as a gift. So I searched the internet and found a spooky picture and printed that out on cardstock.
As you know if you have followed me in the past I love to use something old out of my stash almost every time I craft. This time I had this silver spider web that I cut out years ago. I ended up cutting it in half and placing it on the bottom corners. I then found a Hocus Pocus sticker and placed that on the bottom. The spider is plastic from the dollar store ( I know I am cheating a little bit here) LOL. I love how it gave it a little more 3D look.
Last but not least the design from SVG cuts comes with a hole in the back panel so that you can hang it up for the season. This is a great feature and makes this so functional. I hope you enjoyed this project and it inspires you to create something of your own today.
