Hello Craft Family,
It has been a while since I scrapbooked, but I worked on this page of my daughter and remembered why I fell in love with paper crafting in the first place. Yes, the 3D paper crafts have taken the crafting world by storm but there is something so satisfying about putting your memories on paper and making them come to life again.
This is a two-page layout, with school pages I like to keep them pretty simple as I have a lot of pages to get done but sometimes simple is just stunning. I really enjoy using the 8x10 picture of my daughter for the statement of this layout.
The second page are pictures at our home the first day of school. I used a blue cardstock as my base for this layout. Adding this unique patterned scalloped square paper made this perfect for the western vibe her outfit had going on that year. I had some school stickers in my stash that I used for the "Learn" and "Laugh". Her name was cut out on my Cricut Maker along with the 5th grade. For this layout I did not choose to mat my photos as they stood out perfect on the pattern cardstock that I used.
