Slice of Cake

Who does not love a slice of cake? Even better when the slice of cake you are gifted does not go right to your hips. This cute box is a great way to give a gift. I put some bath salts in mine when I gave it to a friend for her birthday. You could add a gift card, candy or even jewelry. This cut file came from Simplycraftysvgs.com

I used two different color of pink cardstock and also the gold foil cardstock for the make a wish saying that I have placed on the side of the cake slice. The make a wish cut came from Cricut design studio but any birthday die cut you have in your stash would also work.  

To put the finishing touches on this slice of cake box I put some ribbon and also found a feather floating in my misc. paper crafting embellishment box. I love the effect the feather gave to this project. I also used the Nuvo drops for the little white dots on the top of the cake. This gave an extra layer of dimension as well which I think finished off the project nicely.
